I like the Spark site to keep track of my fitness and weight. At times I do find it hard to track what I eat. If I have it in my favorites its great but if I don't I have to input everything. But...once it in my favs it's great.

You need to do what works for you. I use this site pretty much only for tracking fitness minutes. Today is the first day I'm posting to the message boards! For some reason, I like earning Spark Points. ;-)
It looks like you've been here awhile -- 112 posts? So you tried it and you didn't like it. Hopefully something out there is what you want. Good luck!

I was the same way when I first joined. It took me a long time to enjoy it because I dont have the patience to navigate here and there. I think you should give it more time and try all the tools. Im sure you'll love it!

I dont use a lot of this site.. I mainly use it to ask questions and just track my weight. It gives me a calorie range and I track my workouts other then that...

I sometimes think this site is at least as much about getting members to spend time on the site as it is about healthy living - in fact, that was one of my 1st impressions of the site. However, I do like many of the tools and have met some wonderful people here, so I use it as needed and ignore the rest.

I really only use sparkpeople for the message boards. The way I eat it too difficult to track. I eat raw and some of the veggies are just not on the site or the kinds of things I put in the salad. I can't really create recipes, because even though i may make the same kinds of things, I always add or subtract from the recipe depending what i have in the house. I also don't spend a lot of time measuring since most of what i eat are veggies. I do measure the nuts. I do a green smoothie every morning, but again depending what I have in the house, it changes. It's a lot of trouble to go to recipe builder and put everything together because tomorrow I could have a similar one but change the almond milk to coconut milk or add pineapple and take away the banana.
But that is me.

I can see where a particular Bourgeois spark coack may negatively affect someone and cause them to consider leaving due to the iannpropriately changed Bourdeois coaches responses and actions. I am too stubborn to succumb to such an imbecil.
It took me time to figure it out too, but anything worth doing takes time. Give it a chance, and ask for help. The coaches have been very helpful to me when I asked questions on the message boards. Hope you find help before you quit.

I've tried, honestly I have, but I find this site extremely difficult to navigate. I can't get my trackers set up the way I want them. I'm going to have to go somewhere else. I really wish I could make it work. I know it works for thousands of people, but my mind is very linear and this site is not. It's just too jumbled and confusing.
