Yeah, even if it is just for a couple of weeks, tracking your food is so educative about where your calories are coming from, and on portion sizing.

The food tracker is awesome. It is one of the best things I could have done for myself and I am so happy I found it. I never knew how much I was eating in calories. I have changed that and as a result I have lost 31.1 lbs in only 6 wks. I also walk on the treadmill 2 times a day everyday. I hope that everyone will start using the tracker so they too will have as much success as I have had. Love it!

You are SOOO right. If you don't track it, you don't even think about what you have had. OK, I had snacks, but they were healthy. Right. But even if they were only 100 calories each, that adds up when you eat several different ones. Hardest thing for me to learn was just because it is low calorie does not mean you can have as much as you want!
Keep on tracking, and watch that goal weight get closer!

It's a real wake up call isn't it! Every now and again I stop tracking because I get tired of it but quickly go back because seeing those "numbers" is what helps keep me on track! You'll soon become a pro at knowing serving sizes (which so many people overestimate) and calorie/fat counts and you'll start gravitating to those things that are healthy and LOW in calories and fats! I'm a "quantity" kind of gal and have learned it's not just the quantity of what I'm eating but the QUALITY of the food! Keep up the good work.....you WILL see progress!

Good for you. I've been tracking for 4 years. It really keeps me on track. I tell everyone that expresses an interest on losing weight about this site. You have no idea what you consume, until you track it. That was EYE OPENING for me.

I am excited about using the Food Tracker. I can't believe I just said that. I didn't know squat about calories in food. When I tracked my lunch food today, I looked at the calories listed by my peaches and strawberries. It didn't seem right. I looked again at the containers; they were half cup, not quarter cup, and I edited the tracker to reflect that. This experience tells me I'm starting to get some number sense about these important things called calories! Woo hoo! Yay me!
