I used to have sunflower seeds or popcorn at night but now I just go to bed earlier. That helps because not many people eat in their sleep :) But really if you eat well throughout the day and don't need anymore calories than replace the night time eating with a better habit like a bath or reading or stretching. When the habit is broken long enough the cravings will go away.

a small handful of sunflower seeds work for me. they satisfy my salt craving and take a while to eat.

I love salty snacks and find that evenings are the hardest time! What are some good, healthy snacks you eat??
I find myself giving in to late night cravings for something crunchy. I am embarrassed to say, I ate three handfuls of my husband's tortilla chips last night. I used to opt for healthier snacks, but now I'm finding myself caving to midnight munchies more and more. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
