Odds are the problem is now solved, but as tip I keep non-perishable foods on hand for such times. Nuts and dried fruits are good, and I also keep 2-3 varieties of healthy nut/fibre bars so that if I am lacking fibre I can have a fibre bar - if protein, then the one with a higher protein content. Some are more filling than others so if I'm not hungry then a less filling one is ideal. I also always have fresh fruit on hand and a banana is a good one - the calories are higher and goes well with peanut butter or chocolate/nut spread.

An apple, pear or Asian pear (100-120 cal) w/ chocolate almond btr (2 tbsp. for 180). You could dip it in cocoa & cinnamon (2 tbsp. cocoa 40 cal + 1/2 tsp cinn for 5 cal). If you skip the nut butter or cut down, you could have a glass of almond milk (30 cal per cup variety - 2 cup).

Hi, Its almost 9pm, I finished dinner, but still have at least 430 cals left for the day, and I'm hungry! What should I have? I'm thinking maybe toast with peanut butter??
