I agree with what some of the other people have already said- try to throw in some fruits and veggies where you can and drink water. Either buy your own food or save some money and move out. I am in the process of leaving a rather toxic relationship and will be living on my own! It is great! Good luck and stay motivated!

I don't know what your relationship with your mother is, but would it be possible to ask for specific items when she grocery shops? For example, "Could you pick up some apples and oranges and a bag of salad for me?"
And maybe not frame it as I'm trying to lose weight, but I'm trying to eat healthier. I think I'll feel better if . . .
If all else fails, try picking and choosing what your mother brings home and fill in with those foods you need to such as fruits and vegetables.

If you do buy your own food you can be an example of what eating the healthiest most nutrient rich foods can bring. Maybe you mother will become more supportive when she sees your healthy changes.
Season's Greetings all! I am trying to lose weight and it's not easy because I live in an environment where my efforts to eat right, exercise, and get healthy is not supported the way I would like or need. When I try to lose weight, my mom goes food shopping and gets all high fat, high caloric food, no veggies or fruit. A few years ago, a friend told me that I will probably never lose weight while living with my mom. I am beginning to believe her. Any advice? GOD bless!
