Kosher Salt is much coarser than table salt, some say because of this you eat less salt. Kosher salt just has more air in the crystal...salt is salt, no matter which way I look at it and I limit intake to keep my blood pressure in check.

I found this article online. Kosher salt is larger grain (like coarse salt). hope this helps.

I know that it is, but i can't really explain why. I use pink himalayan salt or sea salt. I know those are less processed than Iodized table salt.

I'm wondering about kosher salt. So many recipes call for it. Is it that much different than regular salt?
