I joined in May of 2013, been here a couple times before but never stuck with it. This time I am motivated and determined to stick to it for myself and for those around me.

My name Amanda but everyone calls me Mandy. I am a 23 years old. I am working a full time job at a safety training video production company called The MARCOM Group, Ltd as a production assistant. I am also part of their interactive cd-rom training, dvd and scorm creation group. I am married to the love of my life as of November 5, 2011! I have a dog (Buddy) and 4 cats (Mia, Max, Chip and Dale). I graduated from Chichester high school in 2007 and graduated from Neumann University in December of 2010. I worked at Joann Fabrics for almost 7 years before starting my job at Marcom. I have an older sister who is expecting her first child this year in October, exciting!

On to the more important things: I am 186 pounds and my goal weight is 115-120. I started my weight loss journey in January 2013 at 195. I am slowing incorporating more and more into my plan. I have tried "diets" before and I always end up losing to much to fast and than gaining it all back plus some. This time I am changing the way that I eat slowing, letting my body get used it before moving on.

I grew up weighing no more than 125 up until 2009, so more than half of my life I have never had to deal with weight issues. Because of that, I am not sure how to do certain things and it is hard to break habits. I am focused and determined this time around to get all of this off for myself, my health and my family.
