I listen to Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, classic rock from the 70s, hip-hop, rap, anything with a fairly good, fast and steady beat. When I am lifting weights, I tend toward heavier stuff like Metallica, Opeth, Mastodon...the growly vocals and heavy guitar riffs motivate me. :D

Eminem's Lose Yourself is on heavy rotation on my iPod while running.
Interested in some newer songs if people have suggestions.
When I'm outside riding my bike or running I don't tend to listen to music as much as just take in the surroundings. But, when I'm on the treadmill I will either listen to Pandora 60s70s 80s rock or watch inspirational videos on YouTube

I'm going to chime in and give a shout out for the Songza App too! It is awesome - free music, tons of great cardio songs, as well as other kinds of music. Just FYI, it uses about 30MB of data per hour, in case you don't have unlimited.

I like classic rock from the 60's and 70's, but mainly from the 70's since I'm a child of the 70's - lots of good music with up tempo beats - Bachman Turner Overdrive, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steppenwolf, 3 Dog Night; even a little AC/DC, Aerosmith, Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Doobie Brothers, Led Zepplin, Lynard, Skynard, etc. Lots of great music to walk/jog bo from that era.
Here are a few songs Nelly .. Heart of a Champion Survivor .. Eye of the Tiger (I know I know cheezy) Jason Aldean .. The only way I know Gym Class Heroes .. The Fighter I have more I will try to find my song list later!
