I find it hard to eat healthy if I cut back too much on the fats. I don't usually do it intentionally but will notice I'm really wanting fatty foods and will check my tracker. Sure enough, I will be way below my range. Fats are not evil, just eat the good ones.

So what is your penance?

Sounds like you need a new serious goal, like maybe a cruise? to get you back on the straight and narrow!
Ghee is a type of clarified butter that is prepared by boiling butter and removing the residue. Spices can be added for flavor. Ghee has a long shelf life and needs no refrigeration if kept in an airtight container to prevent oxidation. The texture, color, and taste of ghee depends on the quality of the butter and the duration of the boiling.
I use ghee made from pastured milk/cream. Very tasty.
The "bad" part wasn't the ghee! That's good for you. The microwave popcorn is the killer. Get the real kernels, and pop them in air! Whatever it is they put in those microwave bags is *decidedly* unhealthy.

The ticker looks good if you don't know I've been bouncing about in the same 10lb range (155-165lbs) for well over a year now. It seems as if after the major motivations of fitting into "regular" clothes and being able to participate in activities I love without too much discomfort and embarrassment were out of the way I just keep starting over, going for a while and then saying f*** it and falling back into bad habits . At least I keep starting over again. If I didn't I'd probably be well over 160 and on my way back to 198 or maybe even up into the 200s by now.

Don't worry about it; from your little meter,it looks like you have made a lot of progress. A bad day here and there won't derail you. I get that same feeling/craving sometimes; I ran a 5K and then went home and ate a large pizza in one sitting recently.
Life happens! Sounds like your delicious indulgence didn't cause you to ruin your effort too much.

Not sure if this is the place but I need to confess. I was raised Catholic. I just made a bag of Act II Butter Lovers Popcorn (not the best choice but it was on sale this week) and then poured ghee, yes ghee, all over it. Then I made another bag and did exactly the same thing. I have a history of doing bizarre things with food.
I've been tracking faithfully for the last four days and I've been coming in at the low end of my calorie range and at or below the low end of my fat range. I'd just finished a fairly tough bootcamp workout so I guess something in my body/brain finally broke and said feed me & feed me fat NOW! I'm still within my calorie range for the day and 11g (~15%) over my fat range so averaging it out over the week I'm not doing bad but that was an awful lot of sat fat in one sitting, i think I can hear my arteries clogging as I type. Why oh why didn't I reach for the olive oil :-(
I guess the take-away is don't cut too much too fast or the backlash will kill you, literally. On the plus side I feel better about it already. Confession is good for the soul. Now I just have to remember to eat enough healthy fat every day.
