Those weight loss surprises are so much fun. They help keep us motivated. All you psych majors out there will remember the old proven theory "intermittent reinforcement". It states that behavior (eating less) which is rewarded (weight loss) only every so often is the most powerful motivator in the world.

This was one of those weeks that for what ever reason you see a dramatic swing on the scale...I lost 6lbs and I am happy, I needed a little positive dramatic loss to keep me going, I know next week I may not lose at all or maybe just a little but I needed it this week!
