For now don't worry what the scale says - listen to what your body is telling you. I hear you saying your feeling run down, tired, sick to your stomache - that's your body asking you to fuel it with clean wholesome foods. When we fill our bodies with junk, they react to the poor quality nourishment and become sluggish and apathetic. So even though it's difficult for you to stick to a healthy diet, keep trying and your body will thank you with more energy and a clearer mind and soul. It's tough work and the food industry makes it difficult to ignore our natural desires for fat, salt and sugar by creating foods that satisfy these cravings, but you'll find that as you turn away from these foods you'll want to eat better. But it's not an overnight process, it's a life long journey. Best of luck and hope you are feeling better soon.

Did you lose three pounds of fat or three pounds of muscle? When you exercise while eating fewer calories, it helps encourage your body to lose fat, rather than muscle. Muscle boosts your metabolism. You are worth it, you deserve to be healthy. Do you really and truly want to spend the rest of your life being in pain? Unable to sleep well, unable to enjoy what life has to offer because you just have no energy? Examine your reasons for wanting to be healthy. Are you doing it for your self, your health, your life? Or are you doing it because someone else wants you to? It is you life and your body, only you can decide whether you want it enough. And only you can make it happen.

For the past month I have just basically written off my healthy eating and eaten whatever I want, whenever I want, and told exercise to leave me the heck alone.
Go to weigh myself this morning... I lost 3 pounds during the month of not caring? What the heck is up with that?
Now I am even more unmotivated to eat healthy because I didn't try at all to eat right and I lost more weight than during the time that I did try so hard. I try to eat right and eat a lot of vegetables but I just get filled up so fast that I have to force myself to eat more than 500 calories a day if I only eat when I am hungry.
Now I feel run down and tired and sick of trying so hard to only fail. I was getting sick to my stomach whenever I had to force myself to eat and that made me miserable and then I fail.
Anyone else have this problem? Any words of advice that might make me think it really is worth the trouble of eating healthy? Or is it really worth it at all?
