it would definitely be nett carbs as total carbs are not important since they are not digested. there is a method though to calculate the nett carbs - subtract the dietry fiber from the total carb amount therefore fiber - carbs = nett carb value. be aware that low carb foods state that fiber is actually the sugar alcohols even though they are not as they want to sell more product. good luck
