emoticon I started this in the game room, but it doesn't seem to be getting any takers, so I am moving it to the fitness side. To add to this message board, write your longest streak of jumping rope without missing since you joined Spark people, or add a favorite jump rope jingle from when you were a kid. You can also add a streak of days jumping.
5 minutes of slow jumping burns 64 calories. I am finding that it is a great thing to do before I go walking to get my heart rate up a bit, or a great way to add some quick burn calories to a day when i am short of my goal.
My longest streak is currently 33 jumps. I do better jumping backwards for some reason.
