Well, I weighed myself today and the damage isn't as bad as I was thinking. I weighed 315 and that was in the middle of the day. I really thought it was much more than that, so I'm happy. I bought some new clothes today. I want to feel good about myself. I'm tired of hating me.

OK...another day down. I'm still doing fairly good. I'm eating much better. Eating out less often. Walked three days in a row now, and considering I was doing NO exercise I'm doing GREAT! (High 5 myself- hee hee.) My joints are hurting less and that's awesome. emoticon WINNER!!!!

Woo hoo...walked for half a mile. I feel great tonight. I kept in my calories and ate throughout the day instead of porking out late at night. I'm really going to do it this time. 4 lbs down and 153 to go. Hoping to lose 10 by the end of school.

I want to keep postive and just say what I'm doing right. In the past I've really beat myself up when I've failed to be perfect with a diet. I've also decided to call this a liveit rather than diet, because I want to live and doing what I've done for over 20 years is killing me. Time for a change! Today, I 1. stayed in my calories. 2. Ate very healthy for the first part of the day. 3. I resisted brownies. 5. I even threw a few baskets after the meeting at church tonight. I did great and will do even better tomorrow.

Hoping to lose 158 lbs. Actually a bit more than that. We started at work a bit before I found sparkspeople. Originally started at 318 at the beginning of March. 308 when I started on SP. After the first week, I've lost another pound bringing me down to 307. I have such a good feeling about all this. My short term goal is to lose 17 pounds by the end of school. I also want to inspire my 16 yr old son to lose weight, too.
