My blog and journal are the same thing to me, I do them both for myself but sometimes I get comments which is lovely. Its easier for me to go to the blog vs. the private journal. I have a private journal on Penzu if I need to get ultra serious and need to work out the issue on my own without comments~

I don't think in the journal area you get points for that, if not one should because not everyone wants to be public with their journey~

Well, see that's what I keep doing. I use my blog as a journal. I don't give advise or teach anything, I just write interesting quotes I find and journal about my exercise and progress! But that's for letting me know. Maybe I'll start using the journal instead. emoticon

My journal is really more for me. I don't like to "blog" since I have no interest in being a "role model" for others. I've been a Sparker for nearly six years and I haven't gotten to my goal yet, so I don't see myself instructing others in a blog. I've watched many "blog Stars" come and go in the last 5 1/2 yrs. I'm still here, so I think of myself as a success for me, since I didn't quit.
Journal for your own benefit.

I thought we had our blogs so people could read them like our journals. How do we get people to read them then?
