So the elusive 140's have finally met their match! I weighed in at 148.5 this morning! So happy I broke through the plateau. Have a head cold, won't be working out just yet, hopefully by Monday I will have enough energy to get into it.

Tendonitis in the arms! Have to come up with my own plan...going through the bowflex manual like a crazy person...cardio also has to come in so I can have 'rest' days from the weight training! Still keeping it up!!!!

On week 3 of my LiveFit challenge. Workouts have increased to 5 days a week and the intensity is kicked up a notch for building muscle. Cardio doesn't start until week 5. I'm coping...LOL

Did I mention how fantastic I'm feeling inside and out???

Today was my third consecutive day of working out. I almost didn't make it yesterday but got it in just by the stroke of midnight!

Sometimes forcing yourself into a workout is your best accomplishment. I really didn't want to work out last night, but I did it because I knew I would be upset with myself if I didn't do it. That and I didn't want to chance creating a downward spiral for myself. This is my life and I am the only one who can take control of it. I felt crappy even after the workout was done, but I woke up this morning totally stoked that I was on to a different workout day and didn't have to back track! I'm happy to be making such good efforts! emoticon

Slept for 9 solid hours last night! Miraculously, got day 2 workout done today...actually helped loosen up some of the muscles worked yesterday. Feeling good, other than a little sore!

See you Day 3!

Alright, losses didn't go according to my dream...but without a solid plan, you plan to fail. My bad!

PLANNING EVERYTHING...shopping lists, menus, workout schedules with trainer. I am getting totally psyched for this year. The first 12 to 14 weeks of this year are going to be intense and painful...can't wait! I will be keeping everyone up to speed on a daily basis once my program begins...with the good, the bad and the ugly! Check back soon..... emoticon

Still going clean!!! Had to lug a bunch of wood into the house today to stock up because the snow is supposed to start flying tonight! Hope to get in some cardio tonight...what am I saying???? I AM going to get in some cardio tonight! That's it, that's all!
Been staying within my sp calorie range, little lower on the carbs, little higher on the protein but that's ok because I haven't lowered my carbs on purpose, nor to the point of crashing! I hated all those stupid fad diets I had tried in the past that cut your carbs out and made me become a narcoleptic monster! LOL
I feel good, staying positive despite the fact that no work has been done this week in my house. (No news from contractors, except, I'll be there tomorrow, for sure!!!) I get that all week and then get stressed out when they don't show up and don't call or text to let me know not to bother waiting around for them. So now in the mornings, I'm stressed out completely knowing that they likely won't be showing up again. FUN.
I've been in my new house for 3 months now with a brand new front loader laundry set that isn't hooked up. It costs me almost 20 bucks to do laundry, nevermind the driving 25 minutes down the highway there and back to do it (gas$ too).
K, I vented and I feel better. Sorry you had to waste your time reading it! LOL

Been eating totally clean for the past 2 days and loving it. Right on schedule too at every 3 hours. I was a little low on fats (by .7g) and low on carbs, but high in protein. It's great when I'm on track...now my body has been telling me all day when every 3 hours is so I didn't even have to send myself reminders today. Got the water into me the past 2 days too, that is always such a battle for me. I feel great and it's amazing when your blood sugar levels are regulated...you don't get the dreaded 'munchies'!
Working out tonight (again) and hopefully I can make it happen tomorrow morning as well so maybe I can fit 2 workouts in tomorrow. I'm finally feeling the feed to fuel concept and am trying to turn this body of mine into a well-oiled machine! I CAN DOOO THIS!!!!!!!

Good going group! emoticon I had an exacerbated case of COPD the past 8 days, however starting yesterday I am coming out of it. Tomorrow is a big day for me, I have a chance to take the bus to Pullap Washington for the large Victorian Christmas bazaar.. The town is about 300 miles from where I live. Since I've been sick I've been getting a bad case of car sickness, just going one mile. So I'll take my ginger tea, that is suppose to help.
Well.....at least I am down 1.5 pounds this week.....no one cooks for me...goody. emoticon
When I had a physical the place wrote on my chart that I am 16 pounds over weight, good thing I lost 10 pounds before I went there. emoticon

Down another 2 lbs this week, surprising because I didn't get to eat on schedule due to working on the renos in my house and I ate what the boys ate! I was working very hard though on the house and my muscles were telling me so for days afterwards! Broiling a big batch of chicken for the week today as a quick fix when I don't have time to cook and a big jar of homemade caesar salad vinegrette! Pull out the anchovies!
I am getting back to the grind today with a cardio workout planned and possibly some strength training too. I have a lot of running around to do today, buying paint for my kitchen and bath and groceries too. I will be doing touch ups to walls with drywall mud, sanding, then getting to hang paintable wallpaper where needed in kitchen, then painting the kit and bath this weekend I hope! Putting new mirror in bath, finishing floor in laundry room (new plywood and tiles, grout) then painting that room as well. High hopes for a weekend but we'll see what I can do! Starting to get sooo excited for the holiday season in my new home! emoticon emoticon emoticon

In the past 35 days I've lost 10 pounds, now my weight is going up a pound, than down a pound. However, I am still eating less, and exercising. I try to stay at 1,500 calories, but to lose I must cut to 1,000 calories....guess it's my age..72 years old Dec. 31st.

I am almost 8 wks in...I have gotten portion distortion in control, I have added clean eating as my way of life (with the exception of little cheats when I feel I deserve it!) and now I am about to make the hardest part of my journey a reality...en route to becoming a daily exerciser!

I have lost 16 lbs and 12.5 inches (with a weigh in coming up this week and measurements too! (I haven't measured since Oct. 25, I feel a monthly measurement is more rewarding!)
So far, I have been doing fantastic at being a LOSER and I love it! I feel great knowing I am getting this under control NOW.

I have lost all of the above on changing my diet habits alone, and now that I finally have my bowflex here in my house, I am looking forward to the next phase of my journey. I will keep posting my progress for all to see and look forward to sharing it all!

Best of luck for hard workouts ahead!
