Could be that you slept in an odd position that pulled on a muscle and caused strain to your knee. If that's the case it should be better in a day or two.

How do you explain this? I rested the whole weekend and this morning (my Monday morning here in New Zealand) I have a sore leg muscle and knee. I can't remember dreaming that I was out jogging. How did this happen? Do you have any idea?
