Her kettlebell video is rated as dangerous to do by certified kettlebell instructors, she is not certified to instruct kettlebell technique. Her kettlebell technique instruction is not correct and has a high potential for injury.

Your physician is correct you are eating at a starvation level which will preclude any proper weight loss, anything less than 1200 calories a day is starvation level and that 1200 level is only adequate for a small totally sedentary individual.

I think you need to reassess your programme and use the tools here to help you create one which will help you reach your goals.

I would recommend setting your calories burned goal to reflect the amount of exercise you're doing and then eat in the calorie range that SparkPeople suggests. Eating too few calories (1000 per day is too low) is going to hurt your weight loss efforts in the long run just as much as eating too many will.

I use the kettle bell one for strength training and 2 week turn around strength training too.
I eat under 1000 calories ( I have a fit bit that keeps track for me) but my Dr. said I wasn't eating enough.

Contrary to her unfounded claims all JM videos are cardio workouts with no real strength component. Fat loss is a function of nutrition (diet) not exercise with the three part formula for fat loss in ranked order nutrition 80%, exercise 20% broken down with 15% strength exercise and 5% cardio exercise.

I suggest you need to add a quality strength training programme to your routine.

I am doing Jillian Michaels dvd's 5 days a week but do I need more cardio for weight loss? I am losing pants sizes but no weight.
