Thats really motivating! Did you do it for a full 2 months? If you plan on doing it for longer than 30 days, you stay on level 3 right?

Good advice! I most likely would not have worn shoes, thanks :)

30DS was the first exercise routine I used 2.5 years ago, and it helped me lose about 20 pounds. I did it throughout the summer 3-4 days a week. I don't really remember what my diet was like, but that's the biggest part of weight loss. No exercise DVD is going to help you lose weight if you're not eating healthy.

Search this forum, there is a huge thread on here devoted entirely to the Shred. About 2 years ago when I started my fitness journey, I did the Shred, along with water aerobics and eased into Zumba as well. As for diet, the first thing I did was to drop all soda and start drinking unsweetened decaf tea and water, tons of it. Then, I cut out fried foods, red meat, most sugars, increased my fruit, veggies, and fiber intake and started taking fish oil supplements. Tried to eat every 3 hours during the day, smart meals, protein and fiber.

I did the Shred for a full month, 4-5 days a week and lost 15 lbs in the month I did it, along with dieting. Now I try to go to the Y, I've slacked off somewhat and gained some weight back but my New Years' Resolution is to absolutely make time for the gym. I have a couple of fitness buddies and we use our fitness room at the Y a couple days a week when it is free and do Jillian DVD's, we have done the Shred and also Ripped in 30, love both of them.

When I first started the Shred, I was about 210 lbs and thought I was going to keel over from all those jumping jacks, but it does get easier, just stick to it, take a few rest periods, make sure you drink plenty of water.

Best of luck!

Blessings, Michelle

I did it a few years ago. I didn't do it every day (too sore, easily bored) but it was good. I recommend using shoes. I didn't and I hurt my ankles pretty badly. I was a beginner when I did it and it kicked my butt. I had to stop every few minutes to take a drink and catch my breath. So if you need to do that know that you are not alone!

I am starting this sometime this week! If any of you have tried this workout plan, how were your results? what diet plan did you stick to? The workouts seem pretty tough(keep in mind I am a beginner, I get very little exercise on a daily basis) but I think I can do it! emoticon
