5. Delight: our younger cat (got him as part of a foster litter at about a day old) is turning 5 today :)

Calories: 7/5: over, 7/6: slightly under
Exercise: 7/5: 90 min (Taebo, 2.4 m walk), 7/6: 12 min (.6 m walk)
Water: 8 both days
Motivation: being more consistent about staying in range with calories (not going over or under)
Delight: 7/5: nice night out with a friend, 7/6: catching up with a different friend

Successes:
- Stayed in range on calories 4 days in the last week -- not great, but it's better than nothing
- Did fairly well with getting back into my workout routine after getting back from vacation

I accept your July challenge. Goal is to lose 10 lbs in July. Needed a lift. Kinda in a slump and needed something to jump start me again. 9 years ago lost 108 lbs. Have gained 35 of it back. Since coming to SparkPeople in March this year, have lost 25 lbs. Hope to be at goal weight of 180 lbs by end of year. (would like to be there sooner, but we must be realistic huh!) Thanks for the challenge.

It's Friday - be sure to share your successes from the week!!

Mine included drinking a lot more water (my skin feels so much better!), walking a lot more (4 days I had over 9000 steps, which is really good for me), and eating in range just about daily.

7/5:

1. Calories: over (1800-1900 I'm guessing)
2. Exercise: 50 min. beach walk
3. Water: 8+
4. Motivation: to jog 15 minutes
5. Delight: splurged on a chocolate malt - haven't had one in as long as I can remember!

Some of us post each morning and then come back and edit with our stats; others like to post whenever they can. Any time is fine, just be sure to check in regularly. Daily is ideal!

Pick your motivation for the month and stick with that same motivation daily.
