Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

Hi! To SP. This is a great site - not only lots of resources, but there are lots of great people ready to support you!
I understand what you say about not exercising due to medical conditions - I stopped exercising for a good part of last year due to sore knees and gained back most of what I had lost. But the good news is it's never to late to start over and I congratulate you on making the decision to do what you have to do to lose that weight! Remember,
You might want to think about designing your Spark Page and making it public so that people can visit you and get to know you. I've discovered that my Spark friends are my biggest motivators!
Joining a few teams and posting on the message boards is a great way to meet people and make friends!.

I am not new to exercise or diet by any means. I have been successful with weight loss before, but, I lost the motivation and then one medical issue after another kept me from exercise for one reason or another. In the past 8 years, I have gained 60 pounds and it's time to get rid of it. I need help with motivation at this point. It's too easy for me to use my medical conditions as an excuse to not exercise. Granted, when the time changes in 3 weeks, I will be able to get back into my hiking, but in the meantime, I need someone to help keep me accountable. :)
