So, this isn't big, but I'm pretty proud of it.
Today, I had many different wants. From McDonalds to vending machine snacks to Mac and cheese, everything tempted me. But the hardest was Mac and cheese. The gas station that I get off the freeway near carries my favorite kind, and I had to keep saying no, no, no. I told myself the money I would have spent will be going toward a vacation. I didn't need the food. The money worked, the food on the other hand did not. So I compromised with myself. I wouldn't buy my favorite kind but I'd have the nasty kind at home. That way I was not spending money but I was still getting what I wanted kinda. It would be a win in the sense of one goal, eating what is at home, but a loss in portion control and health food. Well, I'm happy to say I'm sitting in my bed, Mac and cheese less because I asked myself am I really hungry or is it just my emotions and couldnt come up with a good reason to eat it. Win!
