My cheat day is Saturday, but I rarely go over my calorie range.

LOL. I call it a "free day" so I don't feel like I'm doing something wrong, because, I'm not. I eat whatever I want (in moderation) on other days, just a free day is what portions I feel like having.

Meh. I call it a cheat day. It works for me. I eat stuff that's "off plan" all the time, but I usually stay well within my caloric goals and track everything that crosses my lips. Calling it a cheat day makes it feel extra special. LOL

Number 1, dietitians say "don't call it a "cheat day"..........call it an "off plan day", since, you are eating more healthy for the rest of your life, you won't possibly eat perfect every day until the end, so "off plan day". Write it into your calendar, you can even plan ahead for them, because, you usually know when they will happen. That "cheat" business is so old fashioned, and does not help you, mentally, eating healthier is largely a "mental" thing.

I reset my ticker (again)! LOL. So no more long decimal...

Hahahaa I don't know why it did that. What's funny is since I've been so close, I reset my ticker after each few lbs I lose.To me, visually seeing like the number "6" lbs as the end point is mentally easier than continually seeing "7.8" or "10" or whatever, even though I realize the ticker image moves forward.

Anyway the last time I reset my ticker it put that... don't know why... so I just left it. LOL!

I've been having an easier time losing the last few lbs too! So hopefully that last microgram won't be!

"That's a very specific weight-loss goal, TRI_BABE. You know what they say; "The last .00000000000001 is the hardest to lose.""

Oh my gosh, I'm dying. Ha!

It is nice to relax for a day and not worry about calorie counts. I usually have a "free" day once a week. I try to limit it to a cheat meal, but sometimes that meal ends up being an entire pizza and a pint of ice cream.
I usually have renewed energy and drive the day following a cheat day,so it works for me.

I take them, but after the last one I got sick a couple of days later and I'm wondering if it was the unhealthy foods I ate. So I may do another one just eating more healthy foods or not as much bad as the last time.

Normally Sunday is my high-calorie day, but I still count calories and all that. But today we had a fellowship at church where I ate way too much and tonight is family pizza night, so I'm not even bothering to try to tally it all up! Sometimes you just have to take a break.

How about you? Do you take cheat days? What does "cheat day" mean for you in your healthy lifestyle?
