I fight logging my food but I truly think it is the most important thing you can do here on Spark. Right now I am working on pre-planning which I think may do me a lot of good. As for exercise - start small and do something you enjoy. A ten minute walk is a good place to begin. You can do it!!

SparkPeople will be the part of your answer. The biggest part will be how bad you want it? You will see people that are discourage and you will see a lot of people that are very successful (I'm one of them)! I need Spakpeople because of the tools and support. But I know it all depends on me to make me successful; doing the exercising and eating moderately. Hope this helps?
I hope that you will find success here at Spark People. I found tracking my food to be a great start in learning how to make changes in my diet. When I logged in the three candy bars, it was a duh! moment. Logging what I ate honestly made me aware of what I was putting in my mouth.
As for exercising, start small and do something you like to do. Attitude is so important in determining our success or failure in what we set out to do.

I'm currently doing all the things the site says to do, because I'm tired of my weight constantly creeping up and my motivation to exercise being nonexistent, but I'm pretty cynical so I'm ont convinced it'll help yet :-).
