I've been killing myself with trying to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to go for my scheduled (5K challenge) run. I am a morning person but before 5am is torture! Plus having to try to get to sleep early enough to still get 7-8 hours of sleep was so not working.
Then last night it finally occurred to me to try going just before dark... and I LOVED it! The sun had set but there was still light, the world was calming down and the evening smells of coming autumn were even starting.
Now, I have pushed my bedtime back and my alarm in the morning will be so much more manageable. Only took me several weeks of feeling disappointed in myself for the mornings when I didn't get out of bed on-time. But learning is part of this process!
