You're very likely losing some face fat! But I'm not sure 20lbs overall would be enough to make what was once correctly fitted "falling off" your face. So it's probably a little wear and tear and general loosening, too.

Well it really could be either one of those things. Maybe not "warping" so much as the temple pieces' hardware (hinges and little screws, that connect the temples to the lenses part) can get slack. I've worn glasses for a long time-- some styles have more "spring-y" hardware and they hold up better, to being folded up and unfolded, over and over.
Edited to add: if you take them back to where you got them, they may be able to tighten them up some for you, so they don't fall off your face. Whatever the reason for them being loose.

I've been actively working for weight loss for almost 4 months. I check my weight once a month, and at last check I was -20 pounds. So the last week or so I've been having difficulties with eye infections, so I've been wearing glasses. I had them professionally fitted about 3 years ago. But recently they are just falling off my face. Is this a sign that I've lost fat in my face? Or do you think it just warped from continuous use?
