In my job I sit a lot! I try to get up and move often, but sometimes I just completely loose track of time. I've tried settng break timers, but I tend to turn them off, thinking "-as soon as i finish this thought, ill get up and move." But I forget and go for another hour without a break. It got me thinking there ought to be a motion sensitive app, perhaps one with a pedometer feature, where you could set it to remind you to move, and then it would make SURE you do it by tracking the duration of your activity (steps). I saw seen one that uses gps, but that will run down your battery quickly. Has anyone found one that uses the accelorometer or pedometer function?
