I was just looking for the answer to this question too so I found this thread only to discover no answers yet emoticon
But then I figured it out!! emoticon

Click on the recipe you want to adjust (not the edit option, just the actual recipe name) then click the orange writing saying "create a recipe makeover" it's the second option underneath the nutrition info box, and the recipe pops up with the ingredient list able to be changed as you want. I imagine this should work with other people's recipes too although I haven't tried.

I think this is the solution - let me know if it works for you.

Cheers,
Cecilia

Basically I have the same question. I know how to edit recipes that I've added to my recipe box, but I can't figure out how to alter recipes that I've saved to my cookbook from other users. A 'copy to recipe box option' would be awesome, making it simple to make personal adjustments and tweaks to a posted recipe.

What a great suggestion! That would be very helpful.

Copying a recipe would be a great addition!

Great! I was just coming here to ask that as well!!!
It would be extremely helpful! :)
And not just for my own recipe box, but being able to modify recipes I save from other users would be amazing too!!

Hi,

You can edit a recipe in your recipe box, but there is no way to copy the entire thing. I will, however pass this along as a suggestion!

I often have recipes that might have all the same ingredients except for one or two. Rather than having to re-enter the whole recipe again, Is there a way that I can make a copy of the recipe I've already entered and then go in and edit that recipe to create the new version?

Just to note: I've done it a couple of times but I have no idea how! :-) I'll look at my recipe box and I might have 2 or 3 copies of the same recipe in my recipe box but I have no idea what I did to make that happen. It might just be a glitch in the system but if it is, does anyone know how to intentionally duplicate it?
