Hi,

I am not a nutritionist or dietitian, therefore you may want to try posting this on the Diet/nutrition board to see if one of our nutrition experts can advise you. If not, you may want to seek the advice of a Sports Registered Dietitian which you can locate at scandpg.org Lastly remember that supplements, even protein supplements are not regulated by the FDA therefore as long as they do not make the claim of curing an illness or disease, they can pretty much make a lot of empty promises, non of which deems them safe.

I'm an ultrarunner...just ran a 50 mile race 2 weeks ago. I started Ideal Protien diet this week. They say I can't run at all. I feel I'm able, even in this early phase. Is it bad, really?! A 3-10 mile run for me is not hard. I want to do it! But I don't want to damage my heart...of course. Any advice?
