I would call that mountain biking! I got a bike in my divorce, about the only good thing that came out of it. I hope to get it out soon.

I've been thinking it's about time to pump up my tires and put it out on the roads. I think most of the potholes have been filled by now. LOL.

you live in the mountains? LOL, I went for my first "long" ride of the season this morning. It is an absolutely gorgeous day. Took 50 minutes to cover 5 miles. A big portion of the ride is riding up a 3% grade then taking a bike trail around a nice flat area then back down the grade then uphill to home. When I lived in the flat lands I could ride 12 to 15 miles an hour. What a difference a "hill" makes!
