Hi, I'm Jay from Ireland. Have been very fit for most of my life. But last training I did was for an Ironman in 2007. Since then I haven't so much as pumped a tyre on my bike. Ive gained about 10Kilos and feel sluggish and if Im honest old.
Im 48 and feel like Im 58. I was browsing a bookstore yesterday and came across The Spark book. So as I browsed I figured. Why not ?
Well after reading the first few chapters I decided to get off my a*&e and do a walk. I walked for 3 miles and said.... Day 1 done!. Now to join this web community and keep it up.
So feel free to add me. In fact I could probably use the support and motivation :) I'll figure out how to use the website later. Im off to bed now as i work nightshift, but I will visit a gym later and burn another few calories :)
