Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining! I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. So I came to SparkPeople about 6 years ago and 6 years later I have added 10 more pounds and have done nothing for my health. Now I have high blood pressure, more body pain and have found myself in my bed longer than I want to be. I noticed an email from SparkPeople and decided to rededicate myself to my HEALTH not to losing weight but to being healthy. My biggest issue is thinking I am doing this to lose weight, it becomes daunting as soon as I think about it and worst yet if I look in the mirror. So 2013 is about eating HEALTHIER, moving MORE, and CELEBRATING me. I am not only unhealthy in my eating habits but as well as my spiritual, emotional and financial life. This is a journey for me not just a goal. THIS IS MY LIFE, I am 48 years in four months, 2 months off 50, I HAVE TO CHANGE, MY LIFE HAS TO CHANGE. HERE IS TO A PHENOMENAL JOURNEY
