Hello, I started SparkPeople about a week ago. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 19. The heaviest I ever got up to was 260. 2 years ago, I started walking to participate in my first half-marathon. I lost 30 lbs. doing that and I have never felt better in my life. However, last winter, I was derailed by an unexpected surgery in February, but prior to that I had battled some health issues so I basically lost my "oomph" to get motivated. So, here I am, almost 2 years later, in the "fight" mode again. I want to be an inspiration to others out there!
