Losing weight isn't about the exercise you're doing. What have you changed in your diet?
You can't out-exercise a bad diet. In order to lose weight, you need to burn more than you eat... in order to know if you're doing that, you need to be tracking your nutrition.
If you are losing inches, you ARE losing fat. The number on the scale doesn't tell you how fit you are, or anything else... it's just gravity's effect on your body in that given moment.
