Stock cube refers to bouillon cube used in cooking It is cube of pressed dehydrated flavoring like chicken ,beef or vegetable.It melts into the soup adding flavor as it melts. It is very salty too. Some people use broth, some people use stock cubes or bouillon cubes.

Hi there, I am new to spark people and have been looking at the recipe ideas. I noticed there are quite a lot of ingredient included that I don't recognise. I have also tried to add my own recipe for lentil soup but search does not recognise the work stock cubes. Is this because it is an American site and if so is there a Uk site I can use. Hope someone can help as I am ready to go!!!
