A great alternative for your counter top blender. They are made to blend, without taking the item out of the cooking pot or container you are using. Coming from a guy that only owns a couple of really good knives, cutting board, and a Molcajete sounds funny. But I can accomplish all that I need with these tools. I just have to work a little more for the results.

No - gosh, I must be out of touch. Never heard of an immersion blender. Something for me to check into.

I have used mine to blend soups, make smoothies, banana ice cream, sauces and recently used it to blend a batch of liquid hand soap I made. It is a very useful tool to have in the kitchen.

A useful tool for certain projects as demonstrated on many cooking shows.

Do you have an immersion blender? What do you use it for?
