It took me about 8 weeks to go from 210lbs to 191lbs. I used to workout but was very inconsistent and my nutrition was horrible.

If you want to transform your body then really focus on your nutrition. There have been times in the past where I exercised hard for months without seeing any results because I couldn't get a grip on my nutrition.

Go to this page (sparkpeople(dot)com/resource/nutrition.as
p) and start educating yourself on proper nutrition and you'll see results as long as you stick to it.

All the best!

I'd say just focus on your goal, it sounds a little fast to me, perhaps 8lbs in a month might work better, if it's the first month maybe a bit more because of water, but not likely true fat loss. I'm not a professional weight loss advisor, but slow and steady wins the race because it becomes a lifestyle rather than quick fixes, at least from my observations.

It is not likely that you are going to lose 18lbs in 1 month nor is it healthy. Someone at your weight should expect to lose at most 2-3 lbs a week in a healthy an safe manner. Make sure to keep track of you calorie in-take (remember that eating too little can do as much damage as eating too much) and do as much cardio as you can fit in. Good luck :)

I think you probably COULD lose 18 pounds in one month,BUT it would be super hard to stick with the amount of calories and as soon as you starting eating regular again I think you would probably gain it all(or most of it back)

I can become obsessed with numbers,so what I had to do was focus on feeling better and making better choices and not so much on how much I weigh, since I tend to get discouraged by the scale easily.

Personally i think anything you are doing now that you were not doing before ,even a small amount (like exercising, drinking water or making better food choices) is better then doing nothing.

welcome! 18 lb in one month is quite a bit- if you weighed significantly more then that could be a reasonable goal, but about 2 lb/week is a safe amount for you to target. you may lose up to 10 in your first month (but it may take time for the loss to show up, because your body has to get used to a shift in your food and activity levels). so stick with the plan, and you will reach your goal in a couple months!
