It wasn't traditional exercise but I ran two volunteer Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio tours up and down the stairs and all around the home and studio, on my feet for two full hours, and then walked around an outdoor mall after dinner.
Lay aside life-harming heaviness and entertain a cheerful disposition.

As usual, I procrastinated till the very last minute. Then I couldn't exercise bcoz my Mom was in the room with me going thru her hoard of carrier bags. The whole floor was littered with bags, so I couldn't roll out my Pilates mat to do my Pilates till she went out of the room to watch TV.
Oh, I'm doing my workouts in front of the computer instead of the TV bcoz my DVD player is out of order! I didn't feel up to a 45 minute Leah Sarago Core Pilates workout (that always makes me sweat) becoz I haven't been exercising for more than a week. So, I decided to take it slow.
Instead I did a few of Cassey Ho's workouts ( I think I put in like close to 40 minutes). Didn't really count blogilates.com . After which I feel like 'wobbly' all over, like I can't stand straight, if you know what I mean. I couldn't even finish all the reps when I could before which shows how out of shape I am! Gotta have more discipline! Got to!!!

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Mistakes are the portals of discovery.
Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I did, over 10,000 steps and cooked a healthy Thanksgiving dinner overall. First year we ate reasonably and got plenty of exercise to boot! I'm feeling great about it.

Yes! Dinner was at my house, but I planned everything so that I could sneak off for an hour on the treadmill. I felt great afterward, and it made the whole day better. So glad I made the time -- this might become a new holiday tradition!

I admit, I had planned to exercise. I just ran out of time. I stayed up late baking then got up early and started cooking. And cleaning the kitchen from my DD's baking the night before. Then began running around and picking up those without rides, then transporting food and people to dinner, then dinner and visiting and then people back to our house, games and taking everyone home. By the time it was all over it was 11 pm and I was pooped.
But I ate sensibly and moved all day long so I guess it evened out. How did you do?
