I see my last post was about beating a migraine. I had a headache today and managed to get through it but thankfully this one never quite made it to migraine status, though it seemed close. No drugs! Yay! :D

Just claiming my Spark points! I was thinking of how many fitness minutes might pass me by without me even thinking of it, and sometimes it feels like I get nothing done, but then I realize how many Calories are burned just doing the every day chores, my daily walk to the post office or my bus, etc. I'm typically too tired by the end of the day to post - and it's no wonder! Too much to do and too little time can leave a person feeling like they're forever falling short. That's why Sparkpeople.com is so important! Not only to see for yourself what you have done or need to do but also for the extra hugs and encouragement that comes along the way! :D

Today's the kind of day that simply moving forward seems to be more than I can do. What can I do? There's a "storm" out there, not sure how bad the roads are. I know two people have already dropped their kids off downstairs, so it can't be too bad. I need to do my laundry, which means going to a laundromat and I see a "help wanted" sign just up the road from here so I need to stop by with a resume. Perhaps today is the day I ought to go to London (Ontario) to see about finding work there. If I do that, I need to go a bit further and visit a friend who needs cheering up. We need each other. Maybe I feel just a wee tad better for posting this.

Before my husband came home from working night shift, I managed to get three tens done in the kitchen, get the dishes washed and cook some potatoes and some home made French onion soup - all so as to not make noise in the kitchen while he tries to sleep in the next room. :) Woohoo! :D

Ooops, that was way more than just one thing!!! One good thing leads to another!

Keep on Baby Stepping! You'll reach your goals in no time and will hopefully enjoy the journey!

I did my food plan for today-----after entering what I was planning to make, I had to reconfigure the whole meal for dinner - I am now within my calorie range and my food plan is within my plate....Phew! Glad I did that...saved me a lot of carbohydrates, fat and I was not going to get enough protein. So, meatloaf instead of pizza!

how is everyone today is day i take mom to doctor last one for a while

I already have my fantastic rutabagas cooking! I am making Spark recipe "Maple Roasted Rutabaga", which is soooo good!

I am preparing a Spark recipe, I will collect my points, I am not wasting what needs to be used up in my fridge and most importantly, I am eating my veggies!!! (So much better than pancakes, even!!!)

Makes for a great start to my day!!! :-D
