Because of your medical history and the fact that you pulled those muscles, I would suggest you talk to your doctor about what exercises you can and should be doing at this point.

8 weeks bit I pulled the muscles a week ago. Walking sounds good but this is the third abdominal surgery so is there and light exercises I can do to strengthen the muscles?

If your doctor has cleared you for exercise, what about starting with something easy like walking or biking? Then as you become stronger, you can add in some strength training and higher intensity activities. How long has it been since your surgery?

Are you still healing from the removal of the tumor? If so, I'd definitely start out slow, like walking or swimming. You'll get your stamina and strength back. The body is such an amazing thing! It can bounce back so well! Don't get discouraged though. You can do it!! I've had two c-sections, and I've been able to bounce back. emoticon

I like to walk, I don't have a car licence so walking has always been on the card, but my body has gotten used to that type of exercise so I need to get out of my comfort zone.

I had a tumor that was large so it got in the way of working out. I have had abdominal surgery to remove it but they made a large incision due to the size. I am now supposed to be working out. Any ideas what to do to start that I won't feel like I've overdone it. I have no restrictions.
