That's fine, but you may want to consider limiting yourself to 1 regular tea per day, and then switch to decaf.

That is awesome I am so glad someone asked the question. I love flavored water like that but never thought I could use it as my water intake. I am actually meeting all my intakes the last few days. I am excited.

For the non pregnant woman, (who has appropriate iron stores), 5-6 cups of tea daily is considered safe, even for the tannic acid content. However, one should not use tea as the beverage to take anytype of vitamin-mineral supplement.

Hope this helps

if you're drinking a lot of tea (black, green, etc) you might want to consider the effect of the tannic acid on nutrient absorption. Herbal teas might be a better option for frequent consumption.

The diuretic effect of the caffeine in tea and coffee is minimal---so tea does count as a fluid (water) for the body.

While there is some caffeine in tea, iced has less, generally, and generally a lot less than coffee. If you are not sensitive to caffeine, then go for it.

You have to remember that tea has some caffeine content to it as well.

Of course. :) Water loses nothing when you flavor it with tea. :)

I have been drinking a lot of unsweetened ice tea. Does that count the same as drinking water?
