Ugh so unfortunetly, I have to admit this is a serious problem for me. I am midly lactose intolerant and IBS. I eat a lot of bran and drink a lot of water. I stay away from ice cream ( as much as possible) and anything that can be a diuretic. I have a pretty low stress life, so my IBS is not as bad as it used to be. Personally my diet change from junk food to health food was one of the biggest difference in my (sorry to sound gross but) bowel movements. One snack that I use throughout most days, is I buy my favorite type of bran cereal, portion them out to 100 calorie baggies.
