I have a friend who has IBS. She has to stay away from certain foods and she takes a supplement for IBS.
Good luck!

Ugh so unfortunetly, I have to admit this is a serious problem for me. I am midly lactose intolerant and IBS. I eat a lot of bran and drink a lot of water. I stay away from ice cream ( as much as possible) and anything that can be a diuretic. I have a pretty low stress life, so my IBS is not as bad as it used to be. Personally my diet change from junk food to health food was one of the biggest difference in my (sorry to sound gross but) bowel movements. One snack that I use throughout most days, is I buy my favorite type of bran cereal, portion them out to 100 calorie baggies.

I might have this, if you have this please share. I looked up some information and the symptoms seem to match what I am going through. I will schedule an appt. soon with doc. Any sufferers of IBS here, and what do you do to cope?
