Very happy to say (to myself and everyone else), that I've made a re-commitment to SparkPeople this week. I've rehashed my goals, I'm using the tracker and wheel. I've even downloaded the tracker-app so that my food choices are always nearby.
Actually, very happy to have found the app. One big problem for me is the 'spur of the moment' eating. Having the app means that I am never alone when temptation appears.
Anyway, I've just departed a 'slimming club' because whilst the group aspect was nice, and it was also nice to check in every week.. the eating plan itself wasn't working. Um, kind of a necessity don't you think? LOL
I began thinking that the only time I've really done well with my food choices has been when I took 100% of the responsibility and did it on my own, with Sparks. I don't know why it worked for me, but it did. And if it worked once then it can work again.
So far I've lost 54lbs. I still have a long way to go. I plan to weigh in every Saturday morning and will post my results (somewhere on here).
For now.. I'm just really happy to be back. Thank you SparkPeople for STILL BEING HERE!
