I think for the female issues you should get in to see your OB just to make sure there isn't something you should know about. As far as you stomach feeling weird and things like that its pretty common if you are suddenly adding a bunch of fruits, veggies and whole grains for your system to have to adjust food that hasn't already been processed to death by modern machinery. Same goes if you are breaking out, having to pee a lot and that kind of thing it kind of like detoxing your body is releasing the toxins it had adapted to having put in it before. I would say slow down on the water the 8 cups is just a guide, pay more attention to the color of your urine it should be pale yellow when you flush the darker it is the more dehydrated you are (hence usually 1st morning potty is pretty dark) I drinks a lot of water, always have , so hitting the head every hour or so seems normal. Stick with it, pay attention if some foods make you have worst tummy issues and try to add the bit by bit.
Eating sugary foods can exacerbate PMS. Sugar also can adversely affect urinary electrolyte composition. Sugar can cause metabolic syndrome or hypoglycemia and sugar can cause IBS as well as kidney stones.
Dehydration can also cause cramps....signs of dehydration are thirst, dry mouth, dizziness, headache and muscle weakness are common for mild to moderate dehydration. Are you experiencing any these? Remember water maintains proper metabolism and every cell in our body needs water....fruits and vegtables also contain rich sources of water and they also help us stay hydrated.
Frequent urination can rid the body of fluids quickly, have you been tested for diabetes? or Hypoglycemia? Two of the most immediate signs of diabetes are an increase in thirst and an increase in urination.
Too much sodium and not enough water intake can cause bloat.. DRINK SOME CHAMOLIE TEA this herb has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties which can help prevent the onset of gas symptoms and stomach cramps. Too many Carbohydrates can cause gas & bloating such as rice, potatoes, and pasta, beans and peas...WHEAT CAN ALSO produce gas.
Salty foods cause water retention and can make your usual PMS bloat worse
Avoid large meals as they make you puffier.
ELIMATE FOOD WITH SUGAR SOURCES. EAT FOODS WITH LOADS OF PROTEIN
Fried foods can delay digestion, so skip fried foods
Sodium, sugar and carbs stall weight loss and also give you cravings.
Go see the doctor...for sure!

I felt like crap when I cut sugar out of my diet...sugar withdrawals, yes, there is such a thing! Included are frequent urination, bloating, headaches, and even depression! Here is a website that lists a lot of the symptoms. Google it, you will find tons of info on it. It does get better, I promise!!!

How long have you been following the plan?
Making your food tracker public will help. It's possible your stomach aches are caused by any number of things, including the wrong amount of fiber (too much or too little), too much caffeine, a sudden introduction of a lot of raw vegetables, etc. It's also possible that your abdominal muscles are sore if you've suddenly started doing a ton of crunches.
There is another possibility here, which is coincidence. It's possible that as you're reaching the end of puberty your hormones are naturally starting to regulate themselves, and it's just a coincidence that it's happening at the same time as you started Spark.
I definitely do recommend talking to your doctor, as well as keeping accurate records of your food and fitness.

Changing your diet and exercise can affect your cycle at first. It has mine. The best thing to do is go to your dr. I prefer going to my actual ob/gyn for anything affecting my cycle, but even your family dr should be able to help. I wouldn't just up and quit healthy habits. If there is something wrong, it's likely been an issue all along. Honestly, 7-8 wks between periods isn't right. I have done quite a bit of research due to fertility issues in the past. The range for a normal cycle is 21-45 days.

You mention that you stopped drinking water every day - I hope that this doesn't mean that you drink very little full stop, UNLESS instructed to by your Dr.
Sometimes with a small bladder you NEED to drink more to encourage it to stretch a little, and this can reduce the kind of incontinence that you describe, BUT you need to talk with your Dr about this.
With regard to the rest, it would also be very beneficial for you to speak to your Dr. We can't know if it is hormonal or any other problem, and we aren't qualified to comment.
One thing that DID cross my mind, tho', is IF you made these changes suddenly, it could potentially affect your body - but then again, discuss that with your Dr, too.
I don't know what to believe about anything health-related. Someone else told me 8 cups is the bare minimum, and they drink twice that in a regular day. So then I thought it wasn't enough, until other people start telling me it's way too much. It's just so confusing, because everyone thinks they're an expert and no one actually has any idea what's going on!
I do need to go to the doctor anyway because I've suspected for a couple weeks that I may have PCOS. So here we go, sigh....

You may want to contact your doctor and let him/her know what you are experiencing. It does take time for your body to make the changes---sometimes as long as 8 weeks, but if you are beginning to experience symptoms that are new to you, it may not be a bad idea to see what your doc has to say.

don't drink so much water. 8 cups of water a day is a blanket guideline that is repeated so often that it's become truth, even though it has no basis in science. Also, water is found in many fruits and vegetables.
I am 5'2", and only drink 8 cups of water a day on the very hottest days or if I've consumed a lot of salty foods. Most days I drink 6, sometimes 4. When I started drinking water regularly, I started with 4 cups of water to get my body used to it. Now I can drink 1L of water and not need to go to the bathroom for 7 hours.
Since I started SparkPeople and made a commitment to exercising, started drinking 8 cups of water a day, and cut most refined sugars from my diet, I've felt worse and worse, and right now I just want to cry.
A little background: I'm 5'3", 20 years old, and I've hovered around 140lbs since puberty, never really concerned with diet or exercise. My biggest problem is eating way too much sugar. I also stopped drinking water every day at 14, because I have the double curse of a naturally small bladder and urge incontinence and I was so embarrassed. Finally, my periods have always been weird (usually 7-8 weeks apart, longest break being almost 3 months) and I've never had cramps or PMS, which I'm very grateful for.
But since starting SparkPeople, I've had a stomachache off and on for the last week. My period came yesterday, just 5 weeks after my last one. My face broke out like crazy all over right before it started. I'm feeling incredibly emotional and I think I might be having cramps on top of my stomachache, or maybe it's just cramps. I wouldn't know. Plus I have to pee every hour.
Is it possible that my hormones are regulating or something? Please tell me this will go away. This is NOT what I signed up for. If this is what being healthy is like, I'm going on the ice cream diet starting now!!
