So glad you've joined us! May I suggest that you join a team or two of folks with similar interests? That usually helps me to keep myself motivated. Set some short and long term goals. Then, set about to accomplish them. Post how you are doing on your teams. In no time, you'll be invested in yourself!!

I too have anxiety...Be active in the community and it will help. Read blogs, that helps motivate me.

My weight has been + or - 10lbs for the last 20 years. I've used exercise to control my weight but started school last fall, and am using that as an excuse to NOT work out regularily, and have gained 15 pounds in the last 9 months. Also, I started anti-anxiety meds, and no longer worry about my weight, and dont feel motivated to do anything about it. I just feel nothing, while my weight continues to go up. I don't have anxiety anymore, but I can't seem to feel inspired to lose weight. Yikes!
