Running never came easy for me, either. My secret goal is to run a 5K. That is the equivalent of pigs flying but w/ Spark and inspirational stories like yours, maybe it'll happen!

I had the same experiences with running in school, and let me tell you--it's so awesome and FUN to be able to run now! Keep up the good work!

Lost 65lbs in 15 months to get healthy and in top shape to try to get pregnant, and succeeded! Had our first baby in February 2013!

I only gained 32lbs in my pregnancy (and immediately lost half within a few weeks of his birth). April 1st is my full restart date.

I did it slow, but I did it.

I kept having flashbacks to my miserable days in gym when we'd have to run a mile as a fitness test, and we'd get marked town for every minute we walked--and though I was desperate for a good grade, I just couldn't do it. I thought I'd never be able to run for a mile.

But I did it! I woke up determined, put on my running shoes, and busted through it. Just completing that one small, but very personal goal, I now want to tackle more fitness goals. =]
