I hope you had a beautiful wedding and a super special day. My fiance tells me every day I look great but it really is about how we feel. I bet you looked beautiful though! Congrats and good luck on your personal journey and your journey as a couple.

I lost the weight about two years ago and have been pretty good about keeping it off (up and down a few pounds) until my fiance's birthday. There were several parties and we ate leftover cake every day for three weeks. I didn't gain right away or I would have reigned it in a little. Afterward though, I gained some pounds and haven't been able to lose them until last month.
At three months before the wedding I started logging my food again (BIG help,) and continued logging my exercise as usual. As planned, I started working on my arms, which I wanted to tone up for my strapless dress. I'm really trying to keep up with the exercise. I always did cardio but the strength training is making me look better and feel better. The more I work out, the more energy I have to do it. It helps to have a date goal to work toward.
I've switched from my Zumba cardio class to an '80s music class that has cardio and weights. I did the Zumba toning DVD. I have Abs of Steel, Thighs of Steel, and I just ordered Arms/Abs of Steel and am impatiently waiting for it in the mail.
Here is my whole point that I wanted to share....Last week I was taping my ankle because it was hurting and I wanted to go to '80s class. Today I was doing Abs of Steel. On both occasions, my fiance called me an athlete, which no one has ever said about me before. It felt REALLY good. So keep it up everybody, even after the wedding day. It's a journey, not a destination, and it's fun to get the results you want.
I think it's definitely possible you just have to find the time to make it a reality. Try Jillian Michaels workouts. I think the 30 day shred would be good for you. You'd have to go to walmart or target and buy light weights and the DVD. I lost inches doing this workout in my waist, legs, hips, etc... I also lost weight too. Jillian also has some DVDs that do not need weights.
Do you have a lunch break at work when you can find 10 or 15 minutes to walk?
Keep track of what you are eating and drinking. You'd be surprised how much everything adds up. Just by taking a salad to work I've lost 6 lbs in a few months. That's alot for me because I'm smaller. Sometimes just drinking things like soda can kill your diet! Try drinking water instead :)

My wedding is on the 5th of september and i want to lose 25 lbs. Is it impossible? My fiance thinks i look great but i notice my smile in pictures. Its a half-smile. I want a big happy smile as if everythings perfetc, im perfect. Looking for support...
Stay positive, even when it's hard, and keep moving towards your goal. You've come so far! Even if you've just joined SP in the last five minutes, you made the conscious decision to take responsibility for your health, and that is SO COMMENDABLE!!!
Hi I just joined and saw this thread. Wedding is July 22 and I weighed in at my heaviest this morning! It's all just been a bit much for me I think, and I'm due for a fitting soon and feel like crying.
I know I can lose the weigh but I cannot ever seem to get past day 1! It's this mad cycle of being super motrivated and then trailing off into dispair andmy OH doesn't help by saying he thinks I look great as I am etc...as nice as it is, I need real support.
I don't feel fat or overweight most days until I go shopping or see myself next to by BMs and realise I have gained so much weight that I am actually almost heavier than one of them who stands at 5' 9'' in her bare feet and is beautifully curvey! She's wearing a size 12-14 UK and there are days I struggle with 14 and I'm only 5'3''....it's so depressing.
Sorry for the downer, I just feel like I can't get a real grip on anything right now.

you all certainly will be able to do it!I have just set a goal of 19lbs in 3mnths 23 days.:)
I think 20 is still doable, but do keep in mind that 1-2 lbs/week is considered to be a healthy weight loss. I think it's important to monitor really closely until the wedding date and if you can be mindful of what foods or moods may trigger overeating. I've got a sweet tooth & I snack, so I try to keep my home clear of any of that so I'm not tempted. Good Luck! You can do it!! :)

Three months and three days, to be exact. The big day is July 16th, and I still have twenty pounds to lose. Today I'm feeling confident that this is entirely doable, but I have these downswings where it seems impossible. I'm definitely trying to stay positive now, though.
