I never used to drink water before I signed up for spark people, but I find now sitting on the couch and raising the glass to drink helps a lot when I just want something to chew on.

I also have been known to cut up a few tomatoes and sprinkle them with pepper to keep me satisfied.

I used to have a bubble gum addiction for that very reason! I didn't want to eat, but wanted to chew! Of course, then you have to deal with being addicted to gum.

Please help me here.. I am happy if I am gnawing on something. Does anyone have a suggestion of something to gnaw on instead of food to satisfy that oral fixation? Lu
