I'll post for you on your blog as well as here. Even though you've been member of SP before, I'm going to give you one piece of advice I give to all new members and it's this,"don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
You can't beat yourself up because you've gained weight or lapsed back into bad habits. I can't tell you how many years I yo yo dieted before I finally learned that this isn't a diet, it really is a journey. take baby steps literally and figuratively. And if the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink a couple of glasses of water or take a walk, that's still progress.
As the old song goes,"Accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for the POSITIVE things you do for yourself and don't beat yourself up because you're not perfect. You don't have to be perfect to be healthy.
I have given up on this too many times. I stared on spark when i was in highschool, now i'm out of college out of grad school and still trying to get on track.
I would love someone to post on my wall comment on my blog ect and help encourage me, and Id love to cheer you on as well. So if you are out these and willing to join in cheering eachother on please let me know.
