I do go for walks in the mornings already with my dog, and it's nice, but I just get bored and I don't feel like it's a workout.
I'm going to look up some exercises for the pool, because I do have one!

do you have a pool you could use? I have a routine I like to do while treading water. stay cool and get a workout.
What about mall walking? you could even take some of your weights and/or resistant bands with you to add to the workout. maybe see if you can get a friend to go with you.
I have been getting up early and going for an early morning hike, but haven't been able to get my butt out of bed this week.
All the so called "secrets of success"will not work ... unless you do.

I live in Florida so I definitely understand!! I wait until later in the day closer to sundown if I'm going out for a run. Keeping well hydrated makes a big difference too when you're out. I'm not one to carry water with me when I run, so I make sure I get the bulk of my intake before heading out the door.

Have you never had the joy of an early morning walk?? Missing one of the nicest ways to start your day! Its cool, quiet... and if you really want "spectacular"...leave your home about 30-40 minutes before sunrise so you can be inspired by the early sunrise colors... patti

What about hiking? Yes, it's outside, but it's generally MUCH cooler in the woods than out in the open. I suggest it because I hate being outside in the heat, but I LOVE hiking, even in the summer.

Hey everyone. I just finished Insanity and I'm not really sure what I should do next. I'm sort of sick of the whole DVD thing. Any suggestions?
I have dumbells, kettleball, exercise ball, jump rope, resistance bands, and a treadmill.
I would love to do some stuff outside, like bike rides, jogs, ect., but it is just so hot here in California I'd die of heat stroke in a minute. So I would eliminate any suggestions that would make me have to workout outside.
